The Montmorency Junior Football Club are delighted to announce that Ross Henshaw has agreed to come on board as our director of coaching for 2014. Ross has a wealth of experience at all levels of football from VFL/AFL to junior level.Ross is a dual premiership player with North Melbourne who has also coached U19′s at the highest level. We are very lucky to have someone of his experience join our club to help our coaches and players with his great knowledge and expertise.
FOOTY SUMMER TRAINING PROGRAM WITH ROSS HENSHAW
As part of Ross’s role as Director of Coaching at Monty he is also offering places to any interested families in a terrific Summer Training program which he runs. This is open to anyone aged 12-17. The 2013 AGM saw the election of a fantastic new MJFC Executive for 2014. Congratulations to our new President Darren Kane , VP Russell Gardner, Treasurer Rachel Crick, Secretary Kristine Charles. The outgoing MJFC Executive have done a magnificent job in growing and administering the Club over the past 3 years and they received very warm appreciation from all in attendance at the 46th MJFC AGM tonight. All the outgoing Executives received special certificates of appreciation from the AFL on the wonderful job they done.
The outgoing Executive also wish to thank everyone at the Club on the wonderful support they have received from the families at Para Rd – especially the Coaches and Team Managers,
The 2014 Executive are all top shelf and the club is in extremely good hands as we go forward. The new team have a wealth of experience and are of the highest integrity and conduct. We ask all at the MJFC to give their wholehearted support to the 2014 Committee as they take on the very challenging role of running a club which will be pushing up towards 500 Girls & Boys in 2014.
