In 2012 Montmorency will be fielding a team in the NFL Youth Girls Competition. This is a very exciting move for the club as it will be our first ever female football team in our 88 year history. The team will enjoy the full support and resources of the Montmorency Junior Football Club and the Montmorency Football and Netball Club.

We invite all Girls aged between 12 and 18 to become part of this historic team. The team will be launched at the Para Rd Clubrooms on Monday March 5 at 7.30. There will be plenty of information on hand and senior AFL and NFL officials in attendance.

We are delighted to announce Ridge Health in Eltham as the team sponsor. We also have in place very strong coaching and administrative support for all families.

Welcome to the MJFC!You will need to come down to registration day to fill in a registration form.You also need to bring a birth certificate (we will copy it on site).For new players who are transferring to Monty we will have transfer forms on site as well.If you are registering for the first time in 2012 you cannot do it online.

MONTMORENCY JFC NAMED NFL CLUB OF THE YEAR

Pictured above is the NFL CEO Jeremy Bourke presenting the MJFC President Peter Gray with the NFL Junior Club Of The Year Award for 2011.
The MJFC are very proud to receive this prestigious award. It is tremendous to have the efforts of all our volunteers recognised by the Governing Body in such a tangible manner. To be judged as the peak NFL Junior Club (in a field of 26) is something that all families within the Monty Footy Community can take credit for.
It is evident that our policies on conduct and procedures resinates very positively with in the Community and the escalation of our numbers has been a direct result of adhering to relevant Community expectations. In 2011 we had nearly 350 Children play at our club in 14 teams. We are a progressive and responsible club which places a premium upon participation and enjoyment.
The award was achieved on the back of outstanding contributions from Coaches, Team Managers and MJFC Committee.
Congratulations to all volunteers, families, supporters & MJFC Committee on winning the award.
